ABOUT

Kevin Rosacia (b. 1997) is an emerging composer from Houston, TX, and has recently graduated from the University of North Texas in May 2020 (BM Composition, Summa Cum Laude). An active musician and composer, Mr. Rosacia was a four-year member of UNT’s University Singers and has served as their composer-in-residence in 2019. His works have been commissioned by Spectrum Ensemble, an LGBTQ+ ensemble based in Denton, TX, University Singers, and Blocker Middle School. During his time at university, Kevin has studied composition with Joseph Klein, Kirsten Broberg, and Sungji Hong.

 

Currently, Mr. Rosacia regularly volunteers as a pianist at St. Dominic Catholic Church, and someday hopes to pursue a Master’s Degree in composition in the future.
